Summer Nights FAQs Page

We’ve had so much fun at Summer Nights, and we can’t wait to gather again soon! Registration opens every Saturday at 6pm.

What to Expect

This summer, we can’t wait to celebrate and worship with you at . . . SUMMER NIGHTS! Here’s everything you need to know about getting back together as a Calvary family.
Is registration required?

Yes. Registration is required in order for us to abide by our county and CDC guidelines when it comes to the safety and health of your family.

Do I need proof of registration?

Yes. Please be ready to show your confirmation registration e-mail by phone or a printout to one of our Calvary Crew leaders who will be welcoming you onto campus.

What will happen at Summer Nights?

We’ll experience worship, prayer, and a Bible teaching outdoors (as we love like family from six feet apart). Your Calvary pastors and worship teams can’t wait to celebrate with you. We’ll also have some fun elements for the kids! At our Boca, Boynton, Fort Lauderdale, and Plantation campuses, you can also tune in from your car radio if you prefer to remain in your vehicle.

Do I have to bring my own mask?

Yes. Everyone is required to bring and wear their own mask at all times. We’ll have masks available only for those who have forgotten to bring their own. Children 5 and under are not required to wear one.

How are you handling sanitation?

Staff and volunteers will be sanitizing every seat and commonly touched surfaces before you arrive and after you leave. Hand sanitizer stations will be available at multiple locations as you enter the property.

We know you can’t wait to see each other, but please remember that we’ll be waving, giving a thumbs up, and air-fives instead of shaking hands.

How many people can attend Summer Nights? How will I be seated?

We’re strictly following the CDC guidelines for the safety of you and your family. Our Summer Nights event will be limiting the capacity of person(s) on campuses to 50%, per our county’s guidelines. Seating capacity will be limited to allow for social (physical) distancing. Groups that arrive together (family units, roommates, etc.) will be seated with CDC guidelines for social distancing in mind.

Where do I park?

Unlike grocery or retail locations, the majority of attendees will all be arriving and leaving within a few minutes of each other. You may be asked to remain in your vehicle until you’re greeted by a Calvary Crew volunteer.

As a reminder, per the CDC guidelines, we want to discourage those who have been sick or around those who are sick from attending public events. Please join us for service online—we can’t wait to be together soon!

Will bathroom facilities be available?

Yes! Bathroom facilities will be available, but occupancy will be extremely limited allowing us to control the risk of exposures by sanitizing the entire bathroom before and after every person occupies it.

Will water be available?

Yes. We know how hot it can get, so we’ll have complimentary water bottles available should you not bring your own. Some campuses will also have food services available.

What happens after service is over?

At the end of the service, you’ll be dismissed by your service host from each seating area section to prevent crowding. There will also be some information stations you can stop by if you need further support or information.

What if it rains?

It’s summer in Florida, so we know that rain can happen. We’ll keep you updated if plans change due to weather conditions. Our Boca, Boynton, Fort Lauderdale, and Plantation campuses will have radio transmission available, so you can tune in from your car and enjoy service safely.

Where will I sit? Can I bring my own chair?

The experience for each campus environment will be a little different. We’re excited to enjoy the time together no matter which campus you gather at!

Boca: Please bring your own blanket or chair. There will be limited space available to enjoy service outside. There will also be a specific parking area designated for you to enjoy service from your vehicle.

Boynton Beach: Please bring your own blanket or chair.

Fort Lauderdale: If you reserve a spot on the football field, please bring only a blanket with you. If you reserve a spot on the stadium bleachers, you’re welcome to bring a pillow with you for more comfortability.

Plantation: Please bring your own blanket or chair.

Parkland: Chairs will be reserved for you. You may also bring a blanket/beach chair, as there is limited green space beyond the patio.

Hollywood: We can’t wait for you to join us at the Fort Lauderdale campus.

North Lauderdale: Limited chairs will be provided. Please bring your own blanket or chair.

North Miami: We can’t wait for you to join us at our Plantation or Fort Lauderdale campus.

West Boca: Please bring your own blanket or chair.

What if I don’t feel ready to come back to a large group gathering?

We totally understand! Everyone needs to make the best decision for their individual circumstance. If you’re at-risk or feel more comfortable worshipping at home, you still can! l We’ll continue providing an awesome online worship experience, prayer line, and outreach and virtual small group opportunities during the week. You might also decide that hosting virtual or in-person watch parties with a smaller group is right for you in this season.

Will there be access for wheelchairs?

Yes. There will be accommodations for those with limited mobility.

Will there be translation available?

At this time, there will be no translation available at any of the campuses.
