Please pray for my friend's 2-year-old granddaughter who was just diagnosed with PKAN, which is a genetic mutation causing her to lose her ability to walk, move, see, and eat in just a few years. Children with this do not live past 10 years old. There is very little research because it is so rare. This was their first grandchild, and her daughter is pregnant again, due in November. She got pregnant before her first child was diagnosed. Now this new baby has a 25% chance of having the same genetic issue.Anne
