Jill I got diagnosed with Lupus last week, and I already had a previous chronic condition. Now I have them all together. It's a bit much!! I'm feeling anxious & can not foresee a good outcome here on this planet. I'm done for. Seriously. I believe, along with this current diagnosis, I also have Sjögren's, as my eyes are bothering me more & more. I'm unable to regulate my body's thermostat. I'm frightened I'll get kidney disease which seems to walk hand in hand with Lupus, as does Sjögren's. I'm having trouble sleeping because my nerves are on edge. I have IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome) & though it was mostly contained, the past few days, the pain severity of it has awakened me from sleep. I'm afraid I'll lose my job because I'll be unable to work & I'm 70, single & low-income. It's all hitting me at once, all over, everywhere. God doesn't heal people from Lupus here. Any autoimmune disorder is terrible. They all seem to progress & destroy the body in the process. Somewhat unnerving.
