Are you looking to get hands-on professional experience while also learning more about who God made you to be? The Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Summer Internship Program is just what you’re looking for!
Spend the summer partnering with a specific ministry or department where you’ll be mentored by leaders, immersed in the diverse church community, and play an important role in the summer outreach events. Each internship is uniquely designed to fit your giftings and interests, while cultivating your leadership skills and spiritual formation.
God has given you unique gifts and talents, and we would love to help you grow and flourish them! Below you’ll find some of the different areas of ministry and vocational training available.

Internships run from the beginning of June to the beginning of August.
Internships are not paid, but you can receive credit hours for certain colleges and seminaries.
Typically interns have a 40-hour work week. The hours are flexible for interns who have summer jobs or special circumstances.
Yes, you can receive credit hours for certain colleges and seminaries. We will need written permission and paperwork from your school.
Maintaining a full-time job while interning at Calvary is not easy. The majority of your internship hours will take place during regular office hours to gain experience in the ministry or field you select. Some hours are flexible for interns who have summer jobs or special circumstances, depending on the department.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer benefits for interns, but you do get a nice discount at The Grill, Calvary’s highly-rated, full-service restaurant, for the entire length of your internship!
If you choose to relocate, you will be responsible for any moving expenses.
No, unfortunately Calvary doesn’t assist international candidates in obtaining work visas.
