The Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Internship Program is designed to educate, equip, and empower you to live out your calling. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to develop useful skills, work with some great teams, and experience vocational ministry.

How long do internships run?

Internships run from the beginning of June to the beginning of August.

Are the internships paid?

Internships are not paid, but you can receive credit hours for certain colleges and seminaries. In addition, financial assistance is available. Please fill out the application and someone will contact you.

What are the expected work hours of an intern?

Typically interns have a 40-hour work week. The hours are flexible for interns who have summer jobs or special circumstances.

Can I receive college credit hours for my internship?

Yes, you can receive credit hours for certain colleges and seminaries. We will need written permission and paperwork from your school.

Can I work as an intern at Calvary if I have a full-time job?

Maintaining a full-time job while interning at Calvary is not easy. The majority of your internship hours will take place during regular office hours to gain experience in the ministry or field you select. Some hours are flexible for interns who have summer jobs or special circumstances, depending on the department.

Does Calvary provide health insurance or any kind of benefits for interns?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer benefits for interns, but you do get a nice discount at The Grill, Calvary’s highly-rated, full-service restaurant, for the entire length of your internship!

Will Calvary cover my moving expenses?

If you choose to relocate, you will be responsible for any moving expenses.

Does Calvary help international intern candidates secure work visas?

No, unfortunately Calvary doesn’t assist international candidates in obtaining work visas.
