About This Year's Theme

FREEDOM

Freedom is one of the most interesting and unique concepts in the world, one that affects everything and everyone. It’s not something you see, smell, hear, touch, or taste . . . at least not in a literal sense. And yet, you can often sense when it’s there and when it’s not, and it’s something we all crave and fight for.

Did you know that Easter is actually a story of freedom? In it, we find freedom from our past, our mistakes, regrets, fears, grief, guilt, and doubt. In it, we gain freedom to live with joy, peace, fulfillment, and hope.

21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

For 21 days leading up to Easter Sunday, we’d like to invite you to discover the freedom and goodness of a relationship with Jesus through the practice of fasting. Why a fast? Because it shifts our perspective from ourselves to the Lord and draws us deeper into reliance on and relationship with Him. In fasting, we experience a freedom from distraction that provides greater awareness of God’s presence and His voice, and brings about freedom, breakthrough, and life-change!

We encourage you to take this journey with friends, your family, your small group, or the people you serve with at church! Share what the Lord is showing you, pray together, encourage one another, and celebrate together what the Lord is going to do. Keep track of your prayers and what God is showing you during your fast with either our printed or digital fasting journal!

FAQs

Can I attend if…?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, transgender, member of another faith group, atheist, skeptic, etc. We want you to know that everyone is welcome at Calvary. So, come as you are, and we’ll see you at service!

What should I wear?

At Calvary, our heart is for you to come as you are. For some, this means jeans and t-shirts; for others, a suit and tie. We don’t have a dress code. We’re genuinely interested in you, not your attire.

Where do I park?

Once you arrive on campus, we will have parking attendants to guide you on where you can park!

Where do I go when I get there?

Our Parking Team will direct you to the closest available spot. Just follow the smiling faces in the bright orange vests.

Will there be access for wheelchairs?

Yes. There will be accommodations for those with limited mobility.

Will there be translation?

Yes, Spanish translations will be available at the Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Boynton Beach, and Boca Raton campuses.
