Each year on Easter Sunday, we remember what Jesus did for us. We remember how He died for our sins and then staged the greatest comeback of all time! Come celebrate how the resurrection of Jesus has changed the world and has the power to change your story for all time!

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

For 21 days leading up to Easter, we’d like to invite you to go deeper in your relationship with God through the practice of fasting. Why a fast? Because it shifts our perspective from ourselves to the Lord and draws us deeper into reliance on and relationship with Him. Fasting is truly a game-changer for the believer, and we believe that as we ramp up to Easter, God is calling us to fast as a church in order to drown out the distractions of the world around us and focus more fully on Him.

Keep track of your prayers and what God is showing you during your fast with either our printed or digital fasting journal!

For a downloadable journal (In English & En Español)
For the digital experience

Sign up for either an e-mail or a text message every day that will provide you with the Bible passage for the day and a personal reflection question for you to journal your journey—you can use whatever journal or notebook you have!

Parents, sign up to receive daily prayers via text message and partner with us as we commit to praying over your children.

For the YouVersion experience

Use the YouVersion Bible app as your personal journal for the 21 days! Here’s how:

  1. On the app, under Plans, search “21-Day Fast Calvary Chapel”.
  2. Then you can select Start Plan.
  3. Select With Friends—don’t worry, you can still keep it private, but selecting this option allows you to save your notes, prayers, and personal reflections in your YouVersion App and account.
  4. Next, select the date you want to start—the 21-day fast officially starts on Sunday, March 14.
  5. Then, you can either select friends to invite on the journey with you or click Invite Friends Later to keep the plan private.
  6. You’re all set! Make sure to open your Bible app each day to read the passage for the day as well as the personal reflection question to journal about using the “Talk It Over” section.

If you want to have a daily reminder notification sent to you, in the plan click theon the upper right hand of the screen, go to Settings, and under Notifications, turn Reminder on! Then select the time you want to have the reminder sent, and you’re done!
