Elders and deacons play an extremely important role in our church as they’re called to shepherd the church body by serving among them and providing spiritual guidance. They’re to provide overall leadership to the church through prayer, ministering through the Word, and are to set an example for our church family by their obedience to the mission of Christ and His church (1 Peter 5:1–4; Hebrews 13:7, 13:17; 1 Timothy 3:2, 5:17; Acts 6:3–4, 20:28–31; Matthew 28:18–20).
