The Sermon That Changed The World

How can I be all I was created to be? How can I get the most out of life? These are questions most of us, at one time or another, have wrestled with. As humans, we all strive to experience life to the fullest, to find fulfillment, satisfaction, and purpose. So often, though, our search for the truth leaves us with more questions than answers. Maybe we’re just not looking in the right place . . .

In Matthew 5–7, Jesus delivers arguably the most famous teaching ever shared: the Sermon on the Mount. It’s a provocative and counter-cultural discourse about what happens when we live as God intended. Throughout these three chapters, Jesus challenges age-old philosophies, societal status quos, and the vain pursuits of the world while addressing issues like worry, greed, hatred, and lust—issues that are as relevant today as they were back then.

Throughout this 11-week series, we’ll discover how to experience kingdom living in a fallen world as we shift our perspectives and look at the world through the eyes of Jesus.
