An Important Update on Coronavirus

COVID-19 Relief Outreaches

3/26/2020 10AM EST UPDATE:

We have been tracking the news and information about COVID-19 and its effects both worldwide and right here in our surrounding cities. As we look to lead in love and not be moved by fear, our church leadership has decided to take the following steps in order to care for, protect, and love those in our community like Christ.

Important Information To Know

Outreach Opportunities:

  • While the days ahead are filled with many unknowns, we as the church are ready to respond and help those most in need. We know the impact of COVID-19 will have ripple effects in our lives—emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially. We want to help you with the challenges that will come your way and provide ways for you to serve. Learn more here: COVID outreach

  • If you are a retired healthcare professional, school teacher, or first responder and would like to unite and meet the needs of our city as they arise, please provide us with your information here COVID-19 Professional Support Volunteers. Should a need arise, we will contact you and provide you with the information to consider.

Food Service:

  • THE GRILL IS NOW OPEN FOR TAKE-OUT: We’re so excited to announce that The Grill is now open for take out! Supporting The Grill at this time allows us to provide our patrons with an easy and safe to-go option for their families and continue to provide income for servers during this time. Treat yourself, friends, and family to a few of The Grill’s signature menu items. For all the details on how to order and where to pick, visit or follow @theccgrill on Instagram.

Prayer Opportunities:

  • Each day we’ll be setting aside time to pray and fast together. You can submit your prayer requests online at, and also pray for others there too. For live prayer during services, please call 954-556-4777.
  • No matter what may happen in the world, we have the most unshakeable hope in our God. We want to be safe, but we are also filled with faith as we look for opportunities to serve our neighbors and be a light to those around us. We can’t wait to worship with you this weekend online during one of our service times!

Giving Online:

  • HOW DO I CHANGE MY GIVING TO ONLINE?: Your generosity enables us to serve our community—not just during this crisis but all year round. Even amidst this current situation, we still believe giving is an act of worship and a response to the generosity of God. As church services have moved to an exclusively online experience (temporarily), you can easily give online at If you have any questions, or if you need help setting up your profile, you can contact our Engagement hotline at 954-556-4499, Monday–Sunday, from 8:30am–5pmand speak to someone who is ready to help.

Easter Yard Signs Available For Pick Up:

  • Easter is just three weeks away – and yes, we are still celebrating it in a unique way! This Easter will be unlike any other. Invite your neighbors by putting a yard sign in your front yard. Pick up a sign at the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale campus next to the reception office.

Ministry/Campus Events:

  • CASE-BY-CASE EVALUATION: We’re evaluating the continuation of all events on a case-by-case basis, determined by our executive leadership team and ministry leaders. Please check for up-to-date information for all event updates.

Church Services Update:

  • ONLINE ONLY FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS: In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, every service for all of our campuses will be ONLINE ONLY.
  • SERVICE TIMES: Join us for service online by visiting Our service times will be: Saturdays at 6pm, Sundays at 9am, 11am, or 1pm, and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Tune in 30 minutes before services for a special Youth Pre-show service—a combined message from our Six78/HSM leaders!
  • TRANSLATION IS AVAILABLE: Spanish and Portuguese translation will be available at all services.
  • SIGN LANGUAGE AND CLOSE CAPTIONING: Weekend services will have sign language and close captioning available. At this time, Wednesday services offer close captioning but do not offer sign language; however, we are working on making that available.
  • WHY ARE WE SHIFTING SERVICE TO ONLINE? We believe God wants us to lead out of love and not fear. Given current conditions, we believe the most loving thing we can do is to reduce the risk of unnecessary exposure by limiting large gatherings. We’re able to do this by way of our Online Ministry, which allows us to continue to meet together sharing worship and teaching content with the community.
