Generosity Brings Joy!

At the close of each summer, the Back-to-School Backpack Outreach gives you the opportunity to provide hope and school supplies one backpack at a time! Last year was a special year for Cynthia, a mom of two, who received two backpacks for her children after attending a service at Calvary. She was invited to Calvary by a friend who told her about the outreach, and she accepted Jesus that night along with her children! Cynthia connected with the volunteer who gave her the backpacks and shared, “I have goose bumps.” All because of a simple invitation and the need for backpacks for school, an entire family was eternally impacted.

Whether you’ve participated in this outreach before or simply watched lives change from afar, this yearly opportunity can make a great impact! It may seem like a small act, but each backpack can help:

• Boost the self-esteem of children from vulnerable communities because they’ll be able to attend school with all the resources they need
• Strengthen marriages and families by providing relief and peace of mind to couples and single parents in need
• Open doors to share the gospel with kids and families, as well as the education system as we partner with various South Florida public schools

LAST YEAR:

• Because of your generosity OVER $23,000 backpacks were gathered and distributed!
• OVER 1,660 were collected and distributed throughout July and August 2021!
