Watch our most recent mid-week message here.
Since the days of Acts, the Church has seen its fair share of crises, from plagues to persecution to poverty—and everything in between. And in all these trials and tribulations, in local and global crisis, time and time again we have seen God use His people to make a difference and help people in need. And right now, we have been given the amazing opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
While the days ahead are filled with many unknowns, one thing is certain: God is in control and He is working, and we as a church are ready to respond and help those most in need. We know the impact of COVID-19 will have ripple effects in our lives—emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially. We want to help you with the challenges that will come your way and provide ways for you to serve.
Have you been affected by a job loss during the COVID-19 pandemic? You don’t have to go through this alone! This resource site is designed to equip you to build your resume, asses your job skills, find open job positions, and more.

Our local hospitals and first responder facilities are running low on supplies. While we understand most people probably do not have these items, you may know friends, family, and neighbors who might (or may know of a business that has access to these items in their inventory). Below is a list of items we are looking to give, along with where the drop-off bins are located.

Our food pantry is running low, and there is a great need for supplies for disadvantaged families. Below is a list of items we are looking to give, along with where the drop-off bins are located.

Calvary is partnering to help provide relief-care and meals to hospital workers as they come off their shifts. Right now there is not a tangible serving need you can participate in but you can give to our “Relief and Restoration” fund to support this effort.

Social distancing shouldn’t mean social isolation. We’re looking for people willing to donate iPads to give to several nursing homes residents who are not allowed to leave their rooms or walk around. The iPads will help connect them to their families, the outside world, and churches near and far.

Prayer is a powerful tool that God has given us to fight fear and confusion. Take some time every day to walk around your neighborhood with your roommates or family and pray. He has given us a spirit of power, peace, wisdom, and courage. We ask that you pray for the following:
Your generosity enables us to serve our community—not just during this crisis but all year round. Your giving will allow us to continue to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in the midst of this crisis who need help physically, financially, and spiritually.
You can easily give online at CalvaryFTL.org/Give, under offerings select Relief and Restoration. If you have any questions, or if you need help setting up your profile, you can contact our Engagement hotline at 954-556-4499, Monday–Sunday, from 8:30am–5pm and speak to someone who is ready to help.
